We all have that one cartoon character that we see ourselves in because they totally do or think the way we do. But, have you ever wondered what cartoon is your kindred zodiac spirit? Yes, your favorite cartoon character probably also has a birthday, which means they’ve got a sign – and it could be yours. Teresa Strasser talked with Astrologist Jim Ventura to find out who your spirit cartoon is by “drawing” conclusions from the stars.

1. Aries – Lisa Simpson (April 2nd)

Aries positive expression: “I am!”

Aries negative expression: “Me first!”

Lisa is enterprising, incisive, spontaneous, daring, active, courageous and energetic. She like most other Aries are the proverbial leaders of the zodiac. They can be guileless and optimistic to a fault. Aries may never always fit in, but they are meant to carve out new paths for others to follow.

On the negative side they can also be impatient, impetuous, strong willed, and take things too personally. People who were born when the sun was in Aries strongest trait is enthusiasm! Aries has the drive and fire necessary to tackle almost anything. Aries loves the possibilities involved in taking on new projects.

2. Taurus – Homer Simpson (May 12)

Taurus positive expression: “I have.”

Taurus negative expression: “I indulge.”

Taurus is known for their love for food, family and physical satisfaction. Homer Simpson truly fits this character as a man whose primary identity in the show is the role of a father and a husband. It is well known that Taurus may easily become slaves to inertia and overeating, all depicting Homer quite well. He often dreams of donuts! His loyalty towards his friends, Lenny, Carl and Barney, is a reflection on the loyal nature of Taurus people, as well as the closeness he has with them in his everyday life.

Taurus is a gentle sign, they prefer comfort and security over combativeness. The sign of the bull is not actually prone to battle. It takes a lot to get a Taurus angry. But when the bull is pushed too far, they can get quite belligerent and shaking their irritation can take some time to achieve. Tauruses don’t forget abuses very easily. When treated well Taurus can be quite generous and easygoing. Taurus usually prides themselves on creating a life of harmony and comfort. They want the good things in life and will work hard to achieve them!

3. Gemini – Tasmanian Devil

Gemini’s positive expression: “I think.”

Gemini’s negative expression: “I scheme.”

The Tasmanian Devil is know for his intense appetite. While he will eat just about anything he is especially fond of rabbits! He has the ability to spin really fast and he is quite a formidable foe for many of the Loony tune characters. Like Gemini’s ruling planet Mercury it is hot, fast and travels quickly around the sun. Gemini is a sign that is usually more focused on accessing lots of different types of information. They are often knowledgeable about a lot of different subjects and enjoy studying and talking about them. The are truly multifaceted and known for their mutable air interest in exploring many areas of life.

Gemini most likable trait is responsiveness. Gemini’s are naturally wired with a heightened awareness of their surroundings. Their sharp minds and quick ability to size up situations and respond with a seemingly infinite amount of practical knowledge is notable. Gemini is a sign that many would call “lifelong students.” Their ability to always find joy in increasing their knowledge and working to perfect many different forms of communication styles are a strong focus in their lifetimes. The negative tendency is to overthink or be scattered.

4. Cancer – Charlotte the Spider/Marge Simpson

Cancers positive expression: “I feel.”

Cancers negative expression: “I brood.”

Charlotte from Charlotte’s web and Marge Simpson. Both Charlotte and Marge are likely Cancers. They are both strong, sensitive and have a tendency to take care of everyone around them. Their roles in the family are essential to keeping everyone on track. Cancers can put up with a lot. Cancers are ruled by the Moon. This can create strong sensitivity and even powerful intuitive abilities.

Not only do Cancers feel things deeply, but they are often able to pick up on other people’s emotions and feelings. Cancer can be quite passionate about the people and things they care about. Their feelings run deep. On the negative side Cancer can often get stuck in emotions and memories from the past that are hard to let go of.

5. Leo – Bugs Bunny (July 27th)

Leo’s positive expression: “I will.”

Leo’s negative expression: “I pretend.”

Bugs bunny is arrogant, headstrong and mischievous. Like most bunnies, Bugs is also energetic and optimistic. Typical of most Leo’s he was truly the star of the Loony Tune Universe. The most noticeable trait for Leo is Exuberance. The solar power of Leo conveys energy and vitality.

In some respects, all Leo’s are proud Lions. They are hard-wired to want to shine, be creative, and to often entertain others. Leo enjoys acknowledgment from others for their many talents and skills. They want to be appreciated. Leo’s enjoy the role of the “big-hearted-giver.” The negative aspect of Leo can be bravado.

6. Virgo – Lana Kane (September 17th)

Virgo positive expression: “I analyze.”

Virgo negative expression: “I worry.”

Lana is judgmental, over critical and harsh. She doesn’t play. But, like most Virgo’s, she is reliable, trustworthy and practical. Virgo most noticeable trait is efficiency. Virgo’s have sharp minds and a heightened ability to identify what works and what doesn’t work. While they are often experts at identifying flaws they don’t simply stop there. Virgo will find a way to solve, fix, and repair those problems if they can be fixed!

Virgo believes almost any problem can be solved and is willing to study and acquire the knowledge to succeed. They always continue to learn and improve in every stage of life. Other signs may see Virgo’s as critical and even “nitpickers.”

7. Libra – Princess Belle

Libra’s Positive expression: “I cooperate.”

Libra’s Negative expression: “ I procrastinate.”

Belle is a Libra for sure. She is beautiful, tactful and cautious, with a perfect dress and manners at all times. Libra is a zodiac sign that needs to find harmony, balance and justice. Belle is able to find love for the Beast, someone that others see as ugly, and have abandoned and banished. She will dance and enjoy the snow, showing an intense relationship with her father characteristic for a Libra.

By the end, she will discover in a single rose, as a metaphor that life without beauty has no purpose.People born when Sun was in Libra have charm to spare! They are truly a natural optimist, affectionate, and like to please. The negative can be a struggle with decisiveness.

8. Scorpio – Charlie Brown (October 30th)

Scorpio’s positive expression: “I desire.”

Scorpio’s negative expression: “I’m suspicious.”

Scorpios are known by their calm and cool behavior, and by their mysterious appearance. People often say that Scorpio-born are fierce, probably because they understand very well the rules of the universe and can spend a lifetime contemplating. Charlie Brown is steady but does question everything. He is lured into Lucy’s scheme each year to finally kick that football. He has the strength to overcome the seeming endless tests the people and life throw at him.

Some of the key attributes of Scorpio are idealism, dedication and determination. Scorpio operates with an intensity; they love deeply, have fun with passion, and rarely do things halfway. The sign that is represented by a scorpion can also be represented by the Eagle or Phoenix (the mythical bird that transforms itself through fire). Scorpios have the power to overcome. Scorpios tenacity is a tremendous asset. On the negative side, you have to have something to overcome in order to transform. Often the things Scorpios are called upon to overcome are not necessarily easy.

9. Sagittarius – Rudolph the Reindeer

Sagittarius positive expression: “I understand.”

Sagittarius negative expression: “I exaggerate.”

Rudolph has his share of troubles but inevitably becomes the “light” that inspires many and helps Santa to deliver all the presents to children all over the world. Curious and energetic, Sagittarius is one of the biggest travelers among all zodiac signs. Their open minds and philosophical views motivate them to wander around the world in search of the meaning of life.

Sagittarius is extrovert, optimistic and enthusiastic,and is very adaptable. People who were born when the Sun was in Sagittarius have an optimistic, enthusiastic, and philosophical disposition. Sagittarius is ruled by the planet Jupiter. Jupiter brings an often colorful personality, abundance, luck and skill as a storyteller. Sag’s endless search for truth makes them a restless sign. The urge to explore ideas, travel, entertain others and often to teach is strong in Sagittarius, and most are quite talented at one or more of these things. 10. Capricorn – Princess Cadence, My Little Pony

Capricorns positive expression: “I use”

Capricorn’s negative expression: “I inhibit”

Princess Cadence is ruler of the Crystal Empire, she is sophisticated and devoted. There’s lots of competition in the world of ponies, and she’s a leader. She is also very insecure and worried about what other ponies think, as evidenced on her wedding day where she was in full freak out mode. Yet like all Capricorns she overcomes difficulty and is truly strong. People who were born when the Sun was in Capricorn are marked by a steady disposition and an ability to work hard to overcome the obstacles that life may place along their path.

The sign that is represented by the Goat conveys an ability to “chew over” an issue before making firm decisions. Capricorns often take a pragmatic, realistic and sometimes cynical approach to how they view life. This can make them appear to others to be stern or hard to get to know, but Capricorns are no less emotional or sensitive than any other sign. In fact, behind their practical dispositions they are often extremely sensitive idealists! The early responsibilities and setbacks of life usually make them cautious about putting this part of themselves completely “out there.”

11. Aquarius – Peter Griffin (January 31)

Aquarius can be aloof, impractical and extremist, all or nothing! We see this from Peter in almost every episode. But, this crazy man does have some redeeming qualities: Namely, being friendly and creative. He is truly a lovable and fascinating character always focused on a new plan or ideal. His strong connection to his friends is a notable aspect of Aquarians. Aquarius is an air sign with their primary focus on intelligence, analysis, communication, and sharing their vision, knowledge, and ideas in their social groupings and often in the world.

Aquarius’s role is to carry the water. Often Aquarian people are proud of striving to not to be overly emotional or sensitive.Aquarians are friendly, unorthodox in their thinking, and prefer to be seen as open-minded humanitarians who surround themselves with a social circle of equally unique people. Aquarians want to change the world for the better.

12. Pisces – Lucy van Pelt (March 3rd)

Pisces positive expression: “I believe.”

Pisces negative expression: “I escape.”

Lucy is strong and stable and gives wise counseling advice. She is also dreamy and focused on getting the love of her life piano playing Schroeder to feel the way she does about him! Pisces is often a sign of sacrifice. They can have both a practical side and a dreamy, creative side, that can either comfortably or uncomfortably co-exist. They pick up on vibes and subtle clues that others often miss and they notice and understand a lot more than many give them credit for. This can bring wisdom, strong intuition, kindness, and a heightened empathy toward the needs of others.

Pisces people are deeply multilayered and often creative. Pisces people can see the humanity in everyone. This special ability to be open-minded and tolerant is often a welcome attribute in a world where prejudice in one form or another is far too commonplace. Pisces disposition toward kindness can also be a stumbling block at times. They may find themselves in situations where they are taken advantage of because of their tendency to want see the good in everyone.
