Disneyland, Universal Studios, Magic Mountain – been there, done that! Go off the beaten theme park path this summer with some of the wackiest theme parks across America. Kristina Guerrero is taking a look at three of the craziest spots you’ll want to explore.

1. San Francisco Dungeon in San Francisco, California

Forget all the foodies and million dollar one-bedrooms – this theme park experience celebrates the seedier side of the City by the Bay with the main attraction being the thrilling new drop ride that’s part of the Escape Alcatraz show.

2. Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari in Santa Claus, Indiana

Every day is a reason to celebrate at this fun spot. What started out as Santa Claus Land, for obvious reasons, has embraced all seasons, especially summer. They were just named the best outdoor water park in a USA Today survey.

3. Gatorland in Orlando, Florida

Welcome to the alligator capital of the world. This theme park and wildlife reserve is home to hundreds of alligators and crocodiles as well as the Screamin’ Gator Zip Line where you zip line over a bunch of live and large gators. Now that is CRAZY!
