Hang up that winter coat, ‘cause spring is here and we’re ready to dress to impress. We went to the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess where fashion expert Joseph Katz showed us three spring 2019 fashion trends to rock this season.

1. The Utility Look

First on our list of spring 2019 fashion trends is the utility look. “What does utility trend mean? So, utility has that kind of army fatigue,” explains Joseph. Joseph says keep it all neutral – even the accessories! And when you take that jacket off? Boom – a new utility look. Not only is this trend super easy to wear – it’ll have you feeling like you’re on a safari as well!

2. Hello Yellow

Our next springtime style is “hello yellow”. This is one of those spring 2019 fashion trends that will have you feeling like you’re walking on sunshine! “It’s all about yellow this season,” says Joseph. And if you don’t want to drench yourself in head-to-toe yellow, mix it up! “You could keep the top, pair them with jeans, keep the shorts and pair it with a great white or black tee. Super easy,” adds our expert. And for accessories, add a pop of gold for earrings and a clear heel, which Joe says are also very in: “They’re doing it in handbags, they’re doing it in shoes.”

3. Romantic Ruffles

Our last look sure to put a spring in your step – ruffles! This trend is very versatile. You can rock it on dresses, or if you’re not feeling the dress vibe, Joe says you can get t-shirts that have ruffle detail in the sleeve. “You can do a great top that has a ruffle detail on the bottom; it’s just a way you can play with the ruffle trend,” notes our fashion maven. Joe also says to accessorize with understated jewelry so the ruffle detail can really stand out. We guess ruffles aren’t just for chips anymore!
