With autumn on the horizon, you’re probably starting to think about your dream fall wardrobe. But don’t settle for shopping just anywhere. Lindsey Granger talked to Cosmo Magazine’s senior fashion editor, Tiffany Reid, to find out how you can be using your phone to stay fashion forward, without breaking the bank.

1. The ASOS App

If you’ve ever seen someone’s outfit, loved it, and wanted to ask where they got it, but didn’t want to seem like “that guy”, the ASOS app has got you covered. The free app lets you upload pictures of other people’s outfits, then shows you hundreds of similar pieces you can purchase on the spot – no awkward conversations necessary!

2. For the Guys: MTailor & Ukys

Guys, shopping should be easy for you too. That’s why there’s the super helpful apps MTailor and Ukys. These app lets you use your camera to find your specific body measurements and offers custom tailored shirts and other clothing for you to buy, in your specific size, immediately.

MTailor gets your measurements in less than a minute, and lets you design your own shirts, suits, or bottoms. Ukys lets you customize your own tailored suit from the fabric, to the details. Then you’ll find your measurements by just taking a video of yourself, and the app does the rest. Say goodbye to the fashion guess work and hello to a few new threads.

3. The Stylect App

If you can use apps to find your soulmate, can’t you use them to find the right clothes for your closet? The short answer is yes; the long answer is yes, with the Stylect app. This app lets you look through popular fashion items and swipe right on style pieces you like and swipe left on pieces you don’t. If you do like a piece, it’ll take you straight to the piece’s website to buy it!
